With the goal of creating a "painting" greater than one by a master artist, children use the ThinkingSketch software to create their own "paintings" that at the end are displayed in an ¡Èart museum.¡É

By researching, analyzing, taking apart, and reconstructing the works of Van Gogh, Picasso and other great artists, children uncover concepts and messages in the paintings and use them as hints for their own "paintings". Another objective is that through the use of ThinkingSketch software, they will be able to experience the creation of paintings in a novel way.

*ThinkingSketch

ThinkingSketch software offers a unique experience. Like a gardener planting seeds and enjoying the luxuriant flowers that grow from seedlings, users of ThinkingSketch prepare the basic elements for a picture and use the computer to arrange those elements. There may be times when you end up with the picture you want and times when you don't. In the case of the latter, it is possible to review the creation process, supply the program with hints, and add new elements. You can evaluate the result, critique it, and improve on it to produce a fantastic piece. ThinkingSketch aims to provide people with an environment in which they can enjoy their time spent painting and drawing pictures.

Capitalizing on our connections with collaborators and other people who sympathize with CAMP's mission, we are developing various creativity workshops, without being constrained by digital and analog frameworks.
We are proactively broadening the scope of our activities, including “on-site workshops” dispatched from Okawa Center, "group workshops" targeting children’s societies, etc., and "outside campaigns" in which CAMP's workshop expertise is offered to museums, science museums, schools and other institutions.
We also make efforts in developing the Networkshop, a workshop on the Internet. We are working on creating a community in which children can build relationships with each other regardless of time and space.
