To further expand and develop the research work of its MIT Media Laboratory, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) plans to establish the Okawa Center for the Future of Children, using funds donated by the late Isao Okawa. The center will utilize cutting-edge digital technology to research new ways of learning and playing, as well as new means of expression for children, in conjunction with researchers and children around the globe.
